The next event will be Sunday, September 25th at Stardust Bowl. 37 E Lorraine Ave in Addison. The phone number is 630-833-1040. $1,500 guaranteed 1st place. There will be one qualifying squad at 1:00PM. 1 in 5 from the qualifying squad will advance to a 3-game semifinals followed by a Top 4 round robin match play finals. There will be two “Win-A-Spot: squads at 10:00AM and 11:30AM. The entry fee will be $35 and 1 in 5 entries will win a paid $150 entry into the 1:00PM qualifying squad.
At the PBT Grand Opening event at BZ Hawthorn there we had 13 entries and paid out $2,550 in prize money. Congratulations to Ron Nelson Jr who topped the field to win $1,300. Paul Bober was second and won $750. Steve Greenspan was third and won $500. First prize at this event was guaranteed at $1,500. The prize fund was re-distributed at the request of the cashers.
The Premier Bowlers Tour will be getting its official start on September 4th at Brunswick Zone Hawthorn.
There will be 5-game qualifying squads at 10:00am and 12:30pm. You may bowl either squad, or both. 1 in 5 from each squad will advance to the 3-game semifinals. The top 4 from the semifinals will advance to round robin finals. The event will be contested on the Kegel Highway To Hell pattern. This event will pay $1,500 1st guaranteed, regardless of entries.
The entry fee will be $150. The $100 membership will be reduced to $50 for all participants in this event. The membership fee will include a PBT lettered shirt, 12 months of membership, and eligibility to earn National Bowler of the Year points. You may bowl the event as a guest and pay no membership fee. If you cash in the event, the $50 membership fee will be deducted from your prize check. Guests will not be eligible for Bowler of the Year points.
